Trophies and medals of every level were awarded to the Speech and Debate Team last Saturday at the Western Bay Forensics League’s Winter Congress Tournament.
Sophomore Ryan Navi and freshman Diane Jeong each won silver medals, sophomore Sasha Kubichka won first place, sophomore Dean Becker won second place and junior Alex Andrews and sophomore Jules Shinbrot each won silver medals.
“It was really exhilarating,” Becker said. “I’m very proud of the team.”
