Today, the Los Angeles Press Club announced its finalists for their 54th annual SoCal Journalism Awards.
Highlights was listed as one of the top five finalists along with The Spartan Shield from Huntington Park High School, The Pearl Post from Daniel Pearl Magnet High School, The Ambassador from The Ambassador School of Global Leadership and the Jaguar Times from South East High School.
First, second and third place winners will be announced on June 24 at the gala, which is to be held at the Biltmore in Downtown Los Angeles.
