After an ear splitting bang, the site is unveiled: blood splattered across Moreno Drive, smoke billowing from two totaled vehicles, and a breathless body waiting to be removed by the coroner. Though not your typical school-friendly sight, the gruesome display is put on every two years as part of the “Every 15 Minutes” program to emphasize the dangers of drunk driving. On Tuesday, Feb 26, juniors and seniors watched suspensefully behind the front lawn fence, as ten of their peers reenacted a fatal car crash scene for this year’s “Every 15 Minutes” demonstration.
