The varsity cross-country team hosted its first Ocean League meet on 23 Sept. at Cheviot Hills Park.
Both of the varsity teams who entirely made up of sophomores and juniors. The varsity boys team placed third out of the five teams that participated. The girl’s varsity team had also placed in third.
If either the boys and girls varsity team continues to place in at least third during the next two Ocean League meets, then they will quality for the cross-country CIF prelims in November at Mt. SAC.
Cross-country will have their next invitational at Dana Hills on 23 Sept. and will have their next Ocean League meet at Kenneth Hahn Park on Oct. 16.
