Beverly’s Academic Decathalon team won Division I of the Los Angeles County Competition on Feb. 13 with 49 of the 90 medals available in the division.
The team won by over 7000, the largest margin of victory in the history of the LA County Competition, and received awards for the top three individual scores for the event. Additionally, Beverly won the Super Quiz, a special event category.
The decathletes won 49 of the 90 medals available in Division I, as well as the top three individual scores for the competition.
The score placed Beverly as fifth in the state and nation.
