Every week, we speak to students about what is going on in their lives inside and outside Beverly. This week, we asked students what Valentine’s Day means to them.
“What’s special about Valentine’s day? I get to burn off my money.” – Senior David Prokopenko
“It’s a corporate holiday that plays on people’s emotions to get people to buy things. Other than that it’s great.”
“I think a lot of people don’t consider this as a holiday because some people don’t know the story behind it.”
“Valentine’s day is the day you get to spend with people you genuinely don’t believe you would be able to live without. It reminds us of the importance of love and how we should cherish it everyday, not just on Valentine’s day.”
“A day to express our affection.”
