The Westside Tavern is a cool, darkly illuminated restaurant snuggled in the corner of the Westside Pavilion mall. The restaurant, even though situated in a mall, is quite expensive and secluded. The sprawling restaurant has a plush and comfortable seating arrangement and even though the place is so massive, the service is still consistent. The Tavern’s menu is about as large as its location.
One of the Westside Tavern’s tastiest and most creative dishes is called the Peach Burrata. It consists of juicy, golden summer peaches grilled to perfection, soft and creamy burrata cheese, fresh arugula and crunchy, moist pecans all topped off with a tangy balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
The fabulous Burrata dish, only served in the summertime and early fall, perfectly balances sweet and tangy flavors. The dish combines the softness of the burrata with the crunchiness of the pecans along with the juiciness of the peaches, all served in the form of a salad. The result is a taste-satisfying sensation.
The dish is only available for a short period of time since the peaches must be in season from local farms. The restaurant, even though situated in a mall, is quite expensive and secluded. The Peach Burrata dish may be ordered at the price of $13, excluding tax and tip.
