As the holidays approach, Century Mall has opened its annual Christmas display, featuring shows and store pop-ups. The main appeal of the Christmas display is the holiday village, which is portrayed as a winter wonderland.
Every night, Century City creates a magical atmosphere by making it “snow.”

Freshman Ilan Marcus stated, “What caught my attention the most was seeing the fake snow fall because we don’t see snow in LA, so it was exciting to see.”
Freshman Alea Marcus stated, “One thing that made the holiday village so special was seeing all the live performances”.
These performances are often held throughout mall hours, about every half hour. And actors have short performances with singing and dancing.
Another enjoyable activity is the holiday stands around the village, which offer holiday-themed items, fun gifts and snacks. The center has stands selling stuffed animals, art supplies, treats, toys and other goods. This area is a great place to find holiday gifts!
Apart from the holiday village, “Blitzen’s Bar” is where adults can purchase seasonal flavored drinks. And “Santa’s North Pole Adventure” is a designated spot where kids can meet with Santa to take pictures. The area is designed to look like a snug cabin.

Freshman Noa Granitz stated, “I would definitely recommend this event to family and friends because there is so much to do for all ages, and it makes shopping more fun seeing all the holiday spirit and hearing the live performers sing.”
The Christmas display at Century City is truly astonishing and is worth going to if you want to feel holiday magic. There is so much to see and do, whether that is taking pictures, shopping or just watching the live performances.
