Despite their defensive play, girls varsity soccer lost to Lawndale on Jan. 8, 4-0.
Senior Arielle Harris, captain of the team, expressed feelings of frustration after the game.
“I know we could have played much better than we did,” Harris said. “I think we became discouraged after Lawndale [first] scored and we kind of fell apart.”
The team plays its next game on Jan. 15 against Hawthorne.
